The Cannan Institute Dinner Speaker Series
The next in the Cannan Institute innovative dinner speaker series is scheduled for Monday 23rd June, 6:30pm, at the Belmont Hospital, Brisbane.
This dinner presentation will feature Pam Stavropoulos PhD addressing the topic, "What Kind of Person? Questioning the norms of mental health and the context from which they come".
Pam is head of Research and Clinical Practice at
Adults Surviving Child Abuse (ASCA) where she has been the co-author (with Dr Cathy Kezelman) of "The Last frontier: Practice Guidelines for Treatment of Complex trauma and Trauma Informed Care and Service Delivery". Pam has been one of the co-authors of the recently published review article, "Dissociative identity disorder: An empirical overview" (Australian & New Zealand Journal of Psychiatry 2014, Vol. 48(5) 402-417) as well as a series of commentaries on the Australian Royal Commission, institutional abuse and child sexual abuse also published recently in the Australian & New Zealand Journal of Psychiatry.
Cost: Free for current Cannan Institute members. Non-member cost is $35.
